FWIW I have your EXACT SAME motor setup, same carbs, same exhaust, ect on my spare RN right now. Only difference is that I have an MSD Enhancer instead of EPIC. I'm telling you that you cannot go wrong with the 12/17 Skat c75 with TBM combo...(THAT IS, IF YOU DONT WANT TO PAY FOR A MAG NOW). Thats what Radney & Pat told me to order when I built it, and it works VERY VERY good. No doubt that a MAG is better, but on your 771 setup the 12/17 c75 w/TBM it will work very well. Order the SKAT 12/17 c75 for now, then order the TBM when you can afford to add it. You'll be happy with it.

Matt/D-Rok when I end up going the TBM or Mag route I'll have to change Impellers right? And If I've got my ski dialed in with a stock will that help me to figure out what impeller to go with if I do need to change it?

No with the 12/17 c75 you will not have to change impellers with either TBM or MAG. Flash_FX (who I bought my XS771 off of) had the 771 with a 144 mag with the same 12/17 c75 prop in it. Now I have it with a TBM. Either way = win.

I got my 13/17 Concord on today, Honestly took me 30 min from start to finish to swap impellers, At least I'm getting quick at swapping Impellers

The 13/17 Concord has less hesitation then the 10/16 did, and I really don't understand why everybody waves the Hooker flag I quite like this new impeller, I'm sure that there is a better Impeller out there but my search is over this year, I'm going to stick with the Concord, after I swapped Impellers I had to fiddle around with the carbs, and my bottom is out just over 2 turns, should I go with a bigger jet?

I think they his the same his just hits at a little higher RPM, but he is having issues so we will have to wait until he gets it figured out.

I'm going to go with both... Ive got a little trip coming up and its probably not a bad idea to have an extra battery on hand, and when ever I get around to having a light weight hull thats already taken care of

xj's battery is retarded light, I dont understand how the heck it possible, feels like a empty plastic box and his ski floats level lol
