If the the reinforcing job is decent for the most part, you're better off not touching it for a measley one bubble. Besides looks, you're not going to be sacrificing strength in exchange for one bubble.

I got two sides re-enforced this past week with 12oz biax and 11oz carbon only to discover I have a F-ING BUBBLE :17:in the left side under the carbon. I'm so pissed so out comes the grinder this week and off course it is in the only part of the boat that you can see when everything is in.

nice job with the visual carbon! are you gonna give all the mounts a touch up with black gel coat or something like that

So I have gotten lazy on this ski since I have been trying to get as much ridding in as possible before I leave for St. Martin. I installed the footholds yesterday (I still have to remove the screws)and started to sand the ski in prep for paint. I'm hopping to get it foamed, the the tray sealed up and the hole boat sanded before I leave saturday.

Slicker were you out at blue marsh testing your motor in the red ski about 3 or 4 weeks ago on Sunday? I was there with the whole standup crowd that day and there was another dude out there who was doing rolls on a mostly stock 701 square. J/W

Nice boat too btw!

Since I ran out of foam today I started sanding the top deck and hood. I finished the top deck with 320 and I got the hood done with 150 but need to finish it with 320. All I have to say is saning the hood SUCKS B*LLS . There are so many curves and corners. Here are some pics of it startign to look like a ski. Sorry my camera is turning into a POS.:irked:
