You can always tell when a bodyman does a build, they paint everything and with real paint , not spray can crap , I am not knocking you I do the same thing.

And some more… you can kinda see how tight the hood clearance is, even after we modified it to fit lol.

Took a break to wire up my bilge switch and electronic water injection on my 750 ski. My high compression head should be here in a few days, so we’re getting it ready to water test it

Got the rear exhaust completely fixed inside the boat for good now. Ready to lay up some glass to make it look a lot cleaner

Got the front mount glasses in, gave ourselves a little wiggle room by slotting the mount. Also came up with this cool idea for a sort of “fixed manual trim” a couple options of nozzle placement.

Finally got a chance to spray some clear on these parts. That’s our carbon fiber waterbox, and the other piece is the top to the fuel tank. It’s just a sheet of aluminum but we covered it with a layer of carbon. Came out sweet

I do applaud your efforts, what you have done so far is very impressive, that being said this pic shows why I would never do this swap, I see no way you are going to keep water out of the carbs and 951's don't like water ingestion.
Here’s the start of our intake solution. Stock Yamaha air box lol

Looking great! I gutted my hood and made a liner then ran breather hose down from there. It stays pretty dry. In your case there's no room where my hose goes. If I were you I would make a hole behind your steering stem and drop a hose all the way to the bottom of the hull. Make or buy the rear dash cover to keep water out of the hose opening. . Seal the hood completely.

Got a picture of the hood gutted?

Just a poop ton of fiberglass work been going on the past few days. Getting the majority of the body glassed up. Pressure tested the footwells to make sure it’s completely sealed up.

More & more body work. After my 750 build last year I told myself I wasn’t gonna do this again. Little over 6 months later and here we are.. lol

Took a break the other day to mess with the 750 ski. Got some buckshot 44s for a smokin deal a while back. And a new ADA high comp head on the way. Just gotta get the electronic water injection plumbed in and wired up. Then it’s time for a very cold test run!
