I didn't see a hood latch…..is it a ratchet strap with the ratchet mounted by the pole bracket? Also curious on the 144 pump. If money wasn't an option would you prefer a 155?

Yes, the ratchet strap is mounted up front to alleviate knee bashing on it.

A 148 would be plenty for a stock stroke, but the customer was on a tight budget and went with the solas. This thing started out as a b piped, stock ign, std. 46 mikuni build lol. We made a few upgrades, so pump money was tight :) He's very pleased and the boat is working great, but has plenty of tuning left in it.

Thanks for the info…I haven't seen a strap installed like that. Great idea. I'm balls deep into pump options on my own build so that is why i was asking.

How do you like the TPE 964? From the height you're getting it looks like it has plenty of power!

I'm beyond pleased with how the TPE 964 and the rest of the ski runs. It's got more than enough power to compensate for my lack of skills.

I believe Phil's bringing my chan down to Daytona. As the ski's new, and I've only had 15-20 minutes of ride time, i feel the same way about my ski as i feel about my wife, look but don't touch. :)

No I never weighed it as Steve was awesome and installed the Xscream pole for me. With the pole installed the hull was light enough for this weakling to pick up and move.

I let people beat on my ski only because I want people to buy.... But as a owner and after having numerous people being 100% disrespectful to my demos I would be very very picky on who rides you poop

^^^what he said. Unless its a lifelong bro, I wouldn't let people go demo'in my skis. Everyone's your friend until something breaks, sinks, seizes, cracks, etc, etc, etc.
