lol not top secret at all,ive shown the cylinder by itself not bolted to cases at multi freerides already,many people that showed interest have had it in their hands to see all angles.Erik has shown it himself to many others openly at these rides A copy is pretty much immanent at this point considering as well as it works. Im surprised no one has tried more polaris ideas on the yami cases platform already really.How many have seen the inside of a xscream 1200 at this point? A little more time to recoup funds before that happens is a plus......

Technially the dasa is not that good a cylinder if you look at the transfers. The reason being the 118 mm centers of the crankshaft dont allow for well designed transfer tunnels.
There is not much they could do about it using conventional thinking. ebrig is not using conventional thinking to get past this issue and while its still not the best solution to a problem its the best you can do with the limitations put upon you by yamaha to date.
I reckon you guys will be impressed with what this cylinder can deliever.
The triple exhaust port is also awesome to help drop the pressure before the transfer opens. Meaning this cylidner can make more power with the same amount of blowdown compared to other cylinders out there

Before the naysayers jump on me Im not saying the dasa is crap so much as its limited by the design of the yamaha engine as well. If you were to post a pic of it up on a motorbike forum they would laugh at it. It just we are not used to seeing good cylinders in the jetski industry compared to whats really out there

The industry should have started with a 66E case. Instead they chose a poor rout to maintain compatibility with existing parts. Few customers ever asked for a properly designed engine, only a bigger one.

It's progression. The 62T stuff offered great improvements over existing platforms. I'm not sure 5-10 years ago anyone would have imagined where we are now! Better things will keep coming, as with all technology.

Ya, that is true for sure Philip. It all has been centered around the crankshaft that was designed for the 6M6 650 and now we're using that same crank in 1K+ engines. Everything else has changed.

Getting back on topic, I messaged Eric in the middle of Feb. about buying the SS race fuel top end and he replied back and was putting me on a list. He was taking no deposits or payments.
Its all going to time out well for me as i just sold my stupid jet boat and have the $$$ ready to go. Now I just have to worry about getting a good set of carbs. Anybody have any 46/48 BrapJacks for $6-800??

Im just being patient and waiting/building. The end result is going to be worth the wait. This motor is gonna Rip and tear with no despair! :Banane36: :Eyecrazy:

I just hope this old man can hang on!

teamscream really took the 66e where it needed to go,will be interesting to see how many more 66e ver motors come out in yrs to come..I think some will be surprised yet again
