Hallo, if i order a topend kit only you can send some pocs of done casework???
Shipping cases to you and back is very expensiv for me so i have to do it by myself....

Thanks, Andy

Andy,

Erik has options for brand new cases which might work out better for you or, if you can wait a while longer we are working with a shop in France that may be offering full motor service from within the EU.

Andrzej: believe me, we have not forgot about you or this post. As soon as information is ready to be posted it will be posted. This has been a big learning experience for us all. We have learned that there is no such thing as a solid deadline......only tentative deadlines, and there is a reason why tentative is attached to it. No more two weeks out or dates. info will be posted when it is ready. Very sorry for that, it's just the way it is.

Andy, you may find it difficult to get Erik to send out detailed pictures of his port work. It may be easier for your situation to buy a set off Ebay in the US and send to Erik or buy from Erik direct and then have it shipped with the porting already done.

I wouldnt think so,not if the porting pics where being sent out with the cylinder,Ive always known this kinda thing would be a issue in the global market.even in the states really. There are no more porting secrets left, who cares.no ones trying to win a race by a smidge here with big money sponsors anymore.Just freeriders trying to get a new type affordable motor. There are talented porters all over the world,For a project like this to be a success,it can not be a one man build show,or the delays are going to get yet even worse....to really grab a hold of a realistic market share.... Id say with the 70.000 views and 40 pages on this lil forum along with the 1000s of posts on facebook its safe to say the direction this project was marketed for the given purpose was a success. Now it just has to be delivered in a realistic time frame

Disagree, many do care that it's a 11 port cyl with bulging transfers and nikasil advantage.

Maybe so, but those are only marketing terms without basic technical data to go along. Would this cylinder have so many foaming at the mouth if it was smaller and more expensive than what is already available?

The design of the ports on this engine is not a marketing term. A marketing term that usually has people foaming at the mouth is "billet". The bore size and nikisil is a bonus for me but I'd be just as much of a believer in this engine over other SS engines if the bore size was only 85mm rather than 95mm. I'm mostly interested in this cylinder because of the ramped transfers, the auxiliary exhaust ports, and Eriks knowledge and experience with building and porting 2 stroke engines. I'm also glad it's a cast cylinder rather than a CNCed billet cylinder which has many limitations in port shape and design.

ding ding ding..winner winner chicken dinner, these are the points that make the motor marketable.Along with being lighter and MUCH more capable in cooling ...but the number one reason is its more AFFORDABLE than anything else out there. never underestimate a good marketing plan though...thats been going on for 4 yrs now with no freakin product! imagine what could have been done with a few out there to key riders 2 yrs ago...

yeah i agree. I would be buying this cylinder if it was on a 760cc just for the technical advantages in it. It not a cylidner built by just making things bigger. cc for cc this engine should kick any of the other cylinders out there.
Im glad as well its not billet . Maybe some one should invent billet paint so people can still get the billet look and the advantage of a cast cylinder

I was originally trying to get all the cylinders polished and anodized in the first few runs, regardless of what people say...shinny matters in this market...it is what it is though,a ugly ass pitbull that just happens to bite like one as well

Just spoke with Erik, heading over to his place tomorrow to drop mine out. Will be pulling out my old 5mil PV setup this evening and prepping for some serious power... gonna be a tough to sleep tonight!
