Freestyle Affordable Power......... It's COMING

so you all have teased me about the migration question I asked.. may I ask if there have been any problems with the cylinders ... From expansion/contraction or seizures...

These cylinders doesn't suffer from the same issues as some of the billet options out there. It is more like an older cast lamey in terms of where and how the water cools the cylinder. All you have to do is talk to people who have actually ridden theses set ups to understand that the cylinder works. The design is more catered to the better layouts of some of the best two stroke motors in the world, instead of rehashing the same old same old from 20 years ago.

Having said that, no matter how great a cylinder/motor is designed, more often than not, how it runs comes down to who built it and who tuned it. I've ridden skis that were supposed to be awesome than ran like $hit because they weren't tuned even close. I've ridden skis half the size of some of the options on this site that embarrassed people. lol

What's the point of your question? I don't think you're a buyer, just looking to stir the pot. And I question your knowledge... you just read and repeat am I right? Be selective in what you read on here, there's some good info but a lot of misleading info also. You've already killed you credibility as a seller, are you looking to do the same thing as a buyer? Some companies that care about their reputation will refuse to sell to certain people.

I'm confused why your asking, since you already posted there all blowing up in another thread

Haha yea dude you supporting those tpe motors? Maybe you should ask them about what ring clearance they use. That's why they are blowing up. And if you think CPT port jobs are good then maybe you should quit riding. Not trying to get in a fight. If he asks a question I will answer it on my opinion. I'm sorry that I answered him with an honest stand point.

Yes your right. At the beginning when I asked to see the bottom of the cylinder all you guys wanted to do was stir $hit. I was curious how they did the transfers with such a large bore while keeping them somewhat even.

Actually I deleted that post so I wasn't bashing the product.

If you have so much knowledge at such an adolescent age that you can bash other engine builders porting and designs then why not make your own cylinder? If you can make a better product I'll be a buyer. Paypal ready.

My career is in materials evaluation and engineering so I think I'm qualified to answer your question. The thermal expansion coefficient of the aluminum alloy used in the 95mm pistons Erik is using in his motors pairs up very well to the thermal expansion coefficient of the cast aluminum alloy of his cylinders. There are no steel sleeves thrown into the mix with the TPE motors. A lot of GOOD engineering went into this motor on the front end of this project.
