How do these run with the B pipe, weve had enquiries about using 1105 in the surf with a B pipe, i thought the B pipe would be a restricting factor and stifle the power making the 964 a better option, maybe Erik will chime in

Skinnyman is doing this with his setup and yes, the pipe is going to be the restriction. Why not save a bit of money and build up the 964 with all the goods? The 964 is a nasty setup for the surf.....add total loss, rrp or pfp pipe, 148 pump.....its over the top

If that's not enough power, they could opt for the 1031 +5mm stroker

I rode an XFS yesterday with Dasa 10mil 1000 stroker, race gas compression, dual 48s, 148 mag, PFP, etc.
my TPE SS walked all over it, especially bottom end power off idle.

Oh and I rode an XS900 too. Same thing... TPE SS for the win

The 964 set up right shouldn't even be compared to anything south of an 1100 from the other manufacturers. These motors make incredible power for their cc size.

Rode my dummy downed 1105 in surf this weekend Still a freakin handful even with bpipe and stock elect and FW.
Going to flip the set up to full on freestyle mode RRP pipe flame ts2.

It's kinda cool having an engine that makes so much power that your focus is detuning for manageable surf power haha. I'm pretty happy where I'm at but definitely don't want more power. Possibly retail 46s and SJ chamber would be a perfect surf setup. I have Full Spec 46s and TNT limited chamber now which is great but can be a handful at times...
