Stupid question, just took the head off my 946 for inspection. What is recommended torque for head nuts? I put them at 15, then 20 ft lbs.

looking at this website. just wish there was a non pv option (bad experiences in the past). didn't see it offered on the site if i have my own cases an crank already and set to go. also will it work with my 64x cases??? thanks man awesome to see guys bringing affordable parts to the market.

Yes your 64x cases will work. The PV's in these motors, Dasa's and xmetal motors are alot more user friendly then some of the OEM adjustable PV's

If you look back in this thread far enough the cylinder ports were maped to work great non-PV; even better with them.

.....WOW... Someone please explain..and fast! . That was the first problem that has surfaced.. then it disappeares... Wouldn't it have been easyer to say" I just over torqued?". Now you leave everyone to guess ...

OK... Zimmy!... You in there?? Please explane the recent ... Disappearing words... I'm a little more confused now ...I have cash in hand to purchase many new motors... Sent email ,as directed by one of you partners 2 weeks ago with no response...I turn to here for. Info...rtpe seems to use a lot... But when I see ....then don't see words that were "in front of me" then gone...????? What is really going on here??? This isn't the same as the backie stuff but,it makes me wonder....

All engine companies have defective parts or failures. What's important is how the company handles the situation . There isn't a Dasa or Xscream engine thread to post failures in so I'd say the amount of TPE issues is pretty impressive thus far. And to my knowledge nobody has had ANY issues that weren't taken care of. I don't care who buys what but the builder support and knowledge that comes with this engine is worth the investment IMO.

Zimmy.. my name is terry stewart...my email has my name in it... So when you look it up I think you can understand.. btw... WHAT is your real name????? and so now as we speak.. do I need permission to ask ... Why you did not answer a very simple question, what's up with broken stud pics...improperly torque by consumer?? Or has anyone seen this happen yet? (KTM, your response does not give me faith on ....as a potential customer. )
