You guys are wrong it's not just the transfers that make an engine perform well. It's all about the water migration patterns. Polaris has mastered the art of water migration

While Polaris has the water migration patterns figured out, the real magic in this new cylinder is the integration of the transfer port flow and the water migration patterns. When properly engineered to work together, there is a 23% increase in exhaust port flow, 18% increase on the boost port, and it allows you the ability to run over 275 lbs of compression on 87 octane fuel. The low coefficient of friction (due to Nikasil) allows for negative squish that further increases performance.

The engineering on this new cylinder is unreal guys!

phil....:pancake: lol

Just Picture a crankshop polaris setup like a malone cylinder cast for yami cases, triple exhaust ports, nikasil and big round transfers are nothing new, asymmetrical flow shapes on the other hand........

someone was bound to try it sooner or later,it just works.odds are it wont be the last experimental attempt

Last I heard was the water migration patterns were finalized, moving to production. Second demo boat is going together very shortly and possibly a third too.

Negative squish?

so are these top end kits available to buy yet? and do they come in a complete kit or does the buyer have to supply the pistons?

Comes as a complete kit. You're not going to want to buy just the top end kit (unless you're an experienced engine builder) because the cases need extensive port and epoxy work in order to achieve proper flow and accept the large pistons.

Full short blocks will be available or you can supply your own cases (for port work) and crank. Full production should be starting within the next week or so. There's been a few small bumps in the road that have been cleared now.

Ditto what Chris says, if aren't an experienced porter, pay someone. Erik would be you best option as this is his cylinder.

lol....not much else to show you yet. There were some minor adjustments that needed to be made on the pre-production units. This in turn needed adjustment at the foundry. All this set back the target dates a bit, but everything is starting to get back on track now. Not trying to push any hype, just letting you guys know Erik is still on it and dialing everything in. We would rather have delays and a rock solid setup rather than band aid the issues in order to get the motors out quicker. When they are finally available we want everyone to be as impressed with them as we are........and a flatwater back flip on pump gas with a wet pipe on the standard stroke was accomplished last weekend.................
