Lots of legit endorsements here. Is there any substantial flatwater video footage? Sorry if I missed it somewhere in the posts.

Zimmy was doing a great job, throwing his Blaster around. And the linear power of Erik's 964 was noticed. It was a pleasure meeting Erik, Zimmy, Chris. And Tony.

The Design/Build I'm working on will be a perfect match for the TPE964, in the surf. Seems agility is the name of that game.

Throwing around is Blaster? He was doing backflips with that thing like it was nothing. I was wondering what was in there. I am so beyond interested in this combo......DADDY LIKEY!!!!

I was very pleased with the overall performance right out of the box, even in the 90lb hull I have it rips.this is a great powerful affordable package. Good job erik

Erik = homo........ but his motors rock! :)

I am very proud of the work that Erik (and friends) have put into these motor packages. For those who don't know, Erik has basically lived this project for years to get to this point. The design ideas that have gone into this cylinder are years ahead of the lagging industry standard. I've been in the sport for longer than most and I've rarely been as impressed as I have been with these two motor packages.

Good job, slapnuts.

PS
Tony, great to hear you are going to go full time on this. I know you've been hammering at it for a couple of years on the side and this is the best decision you could have made. Looking forward to seeing what you have up your sleeve in the future.

Heres my TPE 964 installed in my rockered blaster. And a pic from Brigantine Beach Bash last weekend.

Here's an update on my 1021cc.

I spent some time testing and tuning with my PET-2100DX this weekend. I'm currently running 125 Pilots, 132.5 Mains, 1.8 N&S, 80g Springs, 1/2 Turn out on high speed screws and 1 Turn out on low speed screws. My plugs are just starting to turn dark brown and the piston wash looks good (inspected with borescope).
I changed my reduction/steering nozzle combination from a 61X reduction nozzle @ 85mm w/stock steering nozzle to a 62T reduction nozzle @ 85mm with an aluminum 60E steering nozzle. I am running fixed trim with a modified OEM 08+ Superjet trim bracket that I machined a 10mm kidney shaped slot in so I can manually adjust the angle of the steering nozzle.
Today I did some short peak RPM runs, both with the 14/19 C75 Skat and with the 15/20 C75 Skat (which is actually a 16/20 on my pitch gage). I knew the 14/19 was spinning so I decided not to alter the pitch on 16/20. Before going back to the lake I was expecting a little better hookup on bottom end but at the expense of some peak RPM.
Well, the results were a little bit different from what I was expecting. The motor had no problem what so ever pulling the 16/20, right back up to 7900 RPM, and to my surprise this impeller is spinning a little bit down low as well. The hookup is substantially better than what I had with the 14/19 but I do not think this impeller is quite enough for this motor. I am going to try the standard length Solas pump cone in place of the Impros freestyle cone while I look at my other impeller options but a 148mm Mag pump may be my ultimate solution.
I continue to be amazed with the power this motor makes with the same bolt-on parts most of us already have. My plan was to use this motor in my superjet until I buy an aftermarket hull then transplant it into the new hull, but I don't think I can take this motor out of my superjet. Especially not after riding a 701 based superjet back to back with mine today. I think there will be another TPE motor going into my next project.

Eric.

kawasakis suck
got to rip around on one of these for a few minutes. now, i strictly ride flatwater. a guy came out with a -4.3 freak. tpe SS with a TNT pipe and 49 full specs. im used to my bob so when i get on a new ski thats longer i look like a retard for about 5 minutes (which is about all the tray time i had) the power is always there, and climbs and climbs. IMO for the money, its totally worth it. I feel that a stroker motor would be better for my application of riding. riding this ski and then mcdogs 850 stroker back to back, i liked the stroker more. 2 totally different ski setups and its apples to oranges. i like the motor and love the design. i want to try a stroker to see what its about, i believe it would be more for me.
