this took about 20-25 minutes. i mixed up enough resin to glue both of them in and about 2 or 3 rivets into the 1st foothold i cut my finger on a rivet shaft that was sticking out. it hadnt broken of all the way and i was bleeding everywhere. but i kept going (i need some new jeans now. the ones i was wearing have some blood on them) ahhhhhh, the things we put ourselves through just to go splash around in the water. lol and this is a minor job compared to top deck removal or refoaming etc. i cant imagine the difficulty.
well, im gonna let this sit for a couple of hours and then get to glassin.:woot:

im in the process of doing the same thing! didnt think it was going to be as hard as it was (first time removing mats) but a razor blade, acetone and alittle help from beachjunkey was the ticket!

well me and another guy started my footholds noon on saturday and we were done at 6am on Sunday. I'm talking from stock turf on the ski to footholds in and fully turfed using a sheet of turf not a turf kit.

18 hours isn't that bad. removing the stock turf and glue was definitely the hardest part.

you use the heat at the very beginning to speed up the reaction. once you have it heated up good then stop with the heat and it will cure much faster.
