Lol, We all put the time in, just not the week before a ride.

I usually drive a minimum of 4-6 hours to ride so I make sure my ducks are in a row long before I leave the house. The only thing worse than wrenching in the garage after work is wrenching on the beach while your buddy's are riding.

I don't have many spare parts, but i'm gonna be bring my Rubbermaid that has misc crap in it. wd-40, dielectric grease, bolts, some cables, motor mounts, ss switch. basically just stuff that you can gigger together to get by.

I don't like wrenching this close to a ride either, but it was either wrench this close to a ride or don't ride. If it don't work out I'll go and yell at you guys from the beach. And drink.

I'm going to bring some tools and stuff but really not much. Last time I broke into carbs to perform changes and it took up about ~2 hours of fun. Not this time. My ski is ready to go and I'm not riding it again until this trip.

That's why I am building a second ski! I don't like cutting my riding days short. My free time is very limited, I wish I was younger (less responsibilities mostly) so I could ride everyday. I'd be a much better rider too. Oops, I broke my ski... Guess I'll go grab the other one.

Lol, that's why I had no problem handing my old surf ski over to the wife. Awesome backup ski that no one regrets having to ride.

What is the ski flush situation there? My motor is about to be Gregg's motor after the trip and he will kick my butt if I dont flush it good.

There's a boat ramp with multiple wash stations just up the road from the Alimicani boat ramp.

If I have the time I may transfer the 20 gallon water tank from my enclosed trailer over to my truck. It should be enough to flush at least a dozen ski's, maybe even wash down a few at the same time.

I always get off and check depth before I go to crazy.... sometime you can get some breaks a little off shore in hugo.
