I've done flips (not great at them) but the last couple rides out I was working on rolls. Ill do barrel rolls in shallow water way before a backflip.
backflips are pretty much for status these days...

I want to barrel roll too but honestly they scare me more than backflips. A lot of twisting torque on the ankles if it goes bad.

I only bought my SJ after seeing these things doing backflips, otherwise I would have not been that interested. Now I wonder what I was ever thinking - Stand-ups are awsome every time they come off the water in any shape or form. Doing Tricks are just a plus.
