Google Alimacani boat ramp. It's a stones throw away from where most launch off the beach but with none of the access concerns. A good session will require at least 3 gallons but it's pretty quick to go in and out, especially at high tide.

The beach is way more desirable for the family unit though so I'd risk getting stuck if it was me.

Here's an overhead view at extremely low tide.

Mcdog... We camped there a few weeks ago. Only four people per site and they are very strict. There is no power or water. As far as getting stuck, the beach is very hard packed until you round the corner where you set up.

We had a good site. They are water front, but on the river, not the Atlantic. And then the jettys stick out forever. You are worn out by the time you round the jetty to head towards the ride spot.

We are in and are booking a room today. I still have work to do to piece together an ignition and water test and load my truck and work every day this week plus I have board meetings wed and thurs night so camping is just too much work. All of my ignition parts are untested so if you have 62t compatable spares bring em.

Damn and I thought I was last min. I got the ski in the water yesterday and ran the new motor. Thanks to Paul for all the help or else I am doubting that I would be able to make the trip.

I rode for 15 minutes yesterday in Daytona. Was super windy but surf was sizable with no organization. Still very fun but I nosed in a re-entry and hit bottom. My couch mounts must have stretched 3" without breaking because both cooling lines popped off and my carbs scraped the inside lip of the hood seal area and my coupler got wedged between my FFH and engine. I've broken couch mounts before doing the same thing and wasn't impressed with their strength but this hull requires no shims with couch mounts so its hard to go a different route. After seeing them hold up yesterday I'm ok with them. And of course no Damage to the nose of my Superfreak once again. Thanks Tem for building a solid ski than can handle my abuse! I only rode for 15 minutes so I'm even more stoked to get a good ride in at Hugo

Shane I have spare 62t elec. parts... Remembering to bring them will be the tricky part.

And I was feeling guilty because I didn't get around to putting my new reg numbers on this weekend. I hope I can get it finished up in time for this weekend...
