I will ride a 40 to 70 foot spread out ocean wave any day of the week on a ski that I prepped.

I respect it but do not fear it.

I wouldn't ride in 40 foot one after another waves...if those even exist.

Big wave shredding is big wave shredding. 13 foot, 20 foot, 40 foot (can't imagine it but I would ride in it!)

I would have zero choice in the matter actually. My soul would make me go ride a clean 70 footer.

Waterhawk gave me a good idea. Launch that thing at full throttle connected to your ski......and with a parachute on.

But I think a chute needs a minimum of 220 feet to fully open.

Not your desire, but the other two, yes, absolutely.
I have been in 15ft surf - not sure what your experiences are, so I won't guess.

I can guarantee you that even comparatively "small" 15ft is nothing like 6-8ft. It is not "all the same".

I have been in 13's and the Niagara. I feel very confident I would survive riding the biggest wave anyone else is riding.

I guess I wouldn't want to just jump on to a 70 but I would glady ride clean 20 to 30's all day every day at this point. Then maybe work up but not over my whole life. Geesh.

Ya know you can ride out of them and away from them and around them guys. Ya know....shred. But I would do anything I have ever seen in here in pics. Any time.

Come on out to the Northwest anytime October - April and we'll see where your heart & sack is.

Why what do you get 20's and 30's? I wouldn't probably enjoy unless they were far apart like these pics. But I would ride with you in anything you can ride in.

Give me a break man....you guys come shred back to back one after another 13 footers in Lake Erie and kill 2 to 3 tanks.
