She loves trash too

Haha that was hilarious. I literally felt like a dad catching his daughter sneaking back into the house after partying......except this time the daughter was super furry, went for a late night swim after a late night trash munching sesh, and then jumped into my bed all wet and trashy.

I don't know man, if I were gone as much as you I probably wouldn't get a dog. Just my two cents. My only reason would be for the dogs sake. My wife was gone for two weeks and our dogs went into a depression. They stopped eating, wouldn't leave my side, and didn't even want to play. I'm sure some dogs would be ok with you leaving but others will be so attached that it will break their heart when you leave. Like I said, that's just my opnion. If you do get one I'm a fan of rescuing one as well.

The "no" is out weighing the "yes" because of that reason..

Sitting home yesterday and today with a jacked up back from this old man riding to hard on Saturday and seen this thread.

This is Coco, she is a full chocolate lab. I rescued here from the Parker, AZ dog pound 7 years ago.
Was looking for a small dog for my daughter at the time and found Coco online, and had to have her when I saw her picture.
I had a yellow lab 20 some years ago and loved that dog to death also, so I just had to have Coco. The fees were only $15. I was expecting to pay around $65 to 75 for the adoption fees, the officer said $15!! $15, WOW, Ok! lol She was a 1 or 1 1/2 when we got her, so she is 8 to 8 1/2 now. She had been at the pound for 3 months and they gave her the name, so we just stuck with it.. SHE LIVES for the water. When she hears a ski start up outside, ITS ON! Then it's pant, pant, pant, harder than ever!! Lets go to the water now!!! hehe

I think I can truthfully say that this was the best money I ever spent!

My dog does the same thing, if he sees my loading up my ski, or hears it start in the garage he follows you around until you give him the invite..walk outside and shut the door without him..hell no..he has a barking fit! He also will walk up to me when I'm putting on shorts and smell them to make sure it's not a bathing suit, if it is, he knows, and the same thing happens..he goes nuts, whining, following and knows his invite is coming

I know right?? Water is like crack for some dogs! Like you say, start up a ski, or sees you packing coolers, etc., and my dog starts panting 100 mph and follows me around closer than my own shadow jonesing to go! Actually it stress's me out when I getting everything ready to go to the water(stressful part anyways), so i have to make her go lay down and relax with a big ol dog bone treat for awhile(and carb up for swim time, haha)... :D

Hah my fiancé gets angry when I go by myself if he finds out because she's stuck at home with him whining and pacing..it's gotten to the point where I have to hide my bathing suit and change in the car or have him leave on a walk or something while I load up or leave..stresses me out too because I feel so bad when he finds out and whines and barks when I leave without him. The things we do for our dogs!
