the goal should be to be lean and light with enough muscles to backflip :djsmilie:
profile pic is pretty old, i look totally different now, i eat protein only pretty much, and low about of it
i juice a bunch of stuff
juice, protein, fish oil, multi vitamins, intravol, 1/4 servings of mass XXX, gatic, creatic and acouple more supplements
LOL, What about fruit, nuts, vegetables, meats...you know, the stuff that if you eat the right amounts of, make all the other supplements unnecessary?
Emm posted up about the Paleo diet last week and I was checking it out this weekend. Some very good stuff there so thanks Emm!
kinda funny
Went to the gym today and when i got there and started out on the leg press i realized that just 4 years ago i wasent about to do 300 pounds [when i weighed 250] but now i can do 1050 pounds, OH MY GOD!
when you use the squat rack you need to be aware of how its set up too, some of them give a mechanical advantage
when i was a member at the gym i used a declined squat machine and i could squat 200lbs all day long
im now using a powertec and im just about squating 150lbs
best way to know the exact amount you can squat is by either using free weight on a bar (dont recommend that) or using a smiths machine (recommended)
if your not used to doing squats put a chair behind you and when your azz touches you got low enough (but dont sit down and rest - thats cheating)
I am talking about raw squats. No machines or assisted lifts. I recommend the opposite and stay away from the smith machine, unless you have back problems or suffered injury.
I am also a firm believer of the ol saying "ass to ankles" obviously not literally as this can cause knee injury. Make sure you have already warmed up with light weight or partials. And watch for poor technique once you have exhausted the quads. Don't grab the bar too wide, and try to touch your shoulder blades together while you take in a deep breath....squat then return to standing position.
