Man I wish i was 16 again, I forgot how wise I was at that age, LOL.

I am unsubscribing from this thread now. I originally joined in because I thought it was started due to a thirst for knowledge about health and fitness and an honest want to better yourself. It's quite obvious at this point that you are only interested in lifting and not interested in personal health whatsoever and only started this thread to brag about how much you can lift without getting sore. I hope you get the girl, win the trophy, impress your parents, score the winning touchdown...whatever it is you are working towards. Best of luck to you. I only hope you come to your senses, broaden your perspective and start to listen to some of the advice that has been offered by fellow members before you do yourself serious and permanent harm.

In the meantime, there are several very informative threads already started about health, diet and exercise that will be more interesting and rewarding and more than open to receive you when you are ready to actually talk about health and fitness.
allright i can successfully see were your comeing from, ill go to a diet specalist soon, if you really think im gonna hurt myself, as for the 600 calories a day, ill stick with what i was doing before till i talk to the doctor and they tell me what i should do.
The last thing i wanna be is the kinda person that gets injured and cant get off the couch for the rest of their life without pain.

As for trying to brag, im not, im actually looking forward to enlisting in the armed forces when i graduate highschool [my reason for striving to be as strong as possible]

Common sense should tell you that you are hurting yourself. You are starving your body with 600 calories a day. No way you can keep up the energy to do a quality workout.

If you are truly serious about lifting and getting stronger you will take the time to see someone NOW (or message Chrisman and take him up on his offer)

anyway...guess I am done preaching.

Good luck and try not to kill yourself.

I dont understand the point to this? You get really, really big, and then what? So you're the biggest guy in your high school. Whoopdie doo, too bad you can't touch your hands together behind your back. Your diet sounds unhealthy if anything. Only supplements with no fruits and veggies sounds like a recipe for disaster. Some of the biggest, strongest, guys I know are horrible athletes.

If that's your goal, you have no idea how bad you need to be doing crossfit right now. The Marines have already adopted Crossfit into their fitness program. The Army is heading that way and virtually ALL special forces are heavily into it. I don't know what more convincing you could possibly need. Start Crossfit NOW. Start a paleo or zone diet NOW. You'll see immediate results in a week and by the time you get to basic training, it'll be a breeze. You still get to do lifts, just not as often and not always for a max.

My gym has 2 surgeons, 2 medical doctors, a veterinarian, some random Phd's, some special forces, some emergency workers and police, a few personal trainers, some MMA coaches/fighters. It's only 100 people total at our place and you can see what kind of people believe in this. It's proven, it's safe, and it's fast results.

Don't waste your time going to a nutritionist. If you want to achieve what other people achieve (being physically fit for the military), then do what they do. I don't think a powerlifting meat head is the ideal candidate for the military. The mess hall doesn't serve protein shakes. Get on a sustainable diet. If you started all of this now, you'd be exactly where you SAY you want to be.

Read about the Murph WOD here: http://www.crossfit.com/mt-archive2/000881.html

Several from our gym finished in under 40 minutes yesterday (without the vest) and others finished in under an hour with the vest. Do that WOD once and see how you feel. I'd guess you can't finish it. The best of your fellow enlistees will be doing it for fun over in the sandbox. Where will you stack up? Is your current powerlifting going to get you there? :drillsergeant:

This guy did this in about 18 months. He's the veterinarian. He works full time and has a family. He's not in the gym anywhere near 6 hours a day like you are. It's more like in and out in less than an hour. These results are pretty typical for someone that is dedicated to both crossfit and a sound diet. He does throw in a few of the crossfitfootball WODs for strength, but it's basically "do these things and get these results" Not hard and no guessing.

im looking into getting some 45 lb plates and a bar to start doing things featured in crossfit at home, mainly because im only 16, dont have a car or licence for that matter and have no idea of a place to do this, but stepping up cardio is my main goal for now, i can lift a decent amount but can run much ive realized from people on here and now is time to fix that

good first step. You can set up a crossfit gym at home for relatively cheap. There is always a substitute for what you don't have. Check out this page for the easiest of the garage WODs. http://crossfitimpulse.com/wp-conte...mprehensive-Bodyweight-Workout-List-v1.02.pdf

Follow the main site WODs every day and substitute in either part or whole for what you don't have the equipment to do. Make sure you get either rubber mats for the floor or get bumper plates (rubber plates) because you WILL be dropping weights A LOT. You'll have to search for yourself, but there are several places to find what people have done inexpensively for their own garages. There are plans to build a bunch of equipment for very little cost.

from today on i am taken my diet very strictly
i am eating 600 calories of protein a day, verryy small meals throughout the day, as much of the darkest green stuff i can find [lol] and my normal supplements for mucle building and energy + my normal vitamins

Ive done this in the past and worked out great but ended up giving up halfway through but now i have grown up and know that if i dont take it seriously i wont get what i want

Im thinking about going out for football next year but my school team sucks [this season they won tops of 2 games] but im not sure because i know i can get more done without going to all the lifting over the summer and do it with my bodybuilding friend instead

I think your confusing a gram of protein with a calories. Your confusing macronutrients with actual calories.

1g protien - 4cal
1g carb - 4cal
1g fat - 9cal
1g alcohol - 8cal

So there is no way your surviving off of 60o calories.

Unsubscribed as well... good luck.
