Yes RV's, 18 wheelers, you name it they cram it. We bring our camper and my long truck across all the time.

BTW, we shouda had this last weekend. 7ft surf with 9 seconds between and glassy. Now its 2ft. At least it's still glassy.

Gonna try to make it thurs still. Probably have to wait til Friday morning now. Also, anyone have a pull start for a 6hp Chinese motor? I had to rob my Mini Baja pull start for my generator. Without that, my mini beach cruiser is a no go. :17:

I may have one. If its a clone of a Brigs I should have one. Ill get a pic of it and see if it might work.

I can bring my lil generator if you guys think you might need it for night time pit bike races.

Just curious, how many people are actually staying the night on the beach?? I saw there were a few, I just didnt really want to be the only dumb@ZZ out there sleeping with the crabs.

its prolly been posted, but does anyone have a good detailed map from H town to the ride area? I guess the fastest way there is via ferry?
you have basically 2 choices:

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=league+city,+tx&daddr=29.192931,-96.28418+to:port+Aransas,+TX&geocode=FX4_wgEdbvdU-imzsWzNI4NAhjHWZEBaX8PeFA%3B%3BFTy2qAEdFfc2-ikbz9s2Q6tphjEtesDL0zQpgQ&hl=en&mra=dpe&mrcr=0&mrsp=1&sz=9&via=1&sll=28.772474,-96.352844&sspn=1.769431,2.732849&ie=UTF8&ll=28.196111,-96.823196&spn=0.444794,0.683212&t=h&z=11

or

note that it is 25 miles further to drive to Houston, but only 2 minutes difference in drive time according to Google.

if you want to look at small towns, rice farms, sorghum, corn, cotton and other greenery, by all means, to take the more direct route. I've driven most of that road and it's not bad - it just not interstate.

Where to ride, where to get your shirts.

Here's the riding spot we picked. This is where the campers are going to be, and where your shirts, hoodies will be. We have many campers coming. please try not to camp too far north of this spot. Riding/launching is banned north of Beach access road 1. I've never been ticketed for riding up there but you never know.

We will be at or near Marker 28

To get your shirts/hoodies: Please look for the Aerolite camper with the '96 white crew cab F350 truck.
