I am all for the seperation of Ski parts for sale vrs full skis.
I am a moron and cannot propperly navigate the search function to where it is worth using though.

I agree with the seperation of parts and skis. I know we use the pre fixes but I think seperate forums would clear some clutter and be quicker to browse the section to find what you looking for.

Im not to sure on the dealers only section. Seems like more work for them. What about doing dividing for sale section into Skis, New parts, used parts?

FOR SALE SECTION
- SKIS
- NEW PARTS
- USED PARTS

No dividing brands like yami, kawi, polaris, custom, other..... thats too much!

to tidy up the for sale section post dumping and the conversations that go on on some threads should be moderated a little more also....

if you want MORE moderation, then I suggest you use your "report post" button more often.

we don't have time to read every thread, so we depend on users like you to report posts that get out of hand.

This doesn't have anything to do with extra sub forums in the for sale section, but can everyone that SOLD their item PLEASE go in and change the prefix to SOLD so that buyers don't click on a thread, read the whole thing then get to the last post just to read that it says SOLD..

Talk about irritating and a waste of time.

Nope I read you loud and clear. I agree with you and think it's a good idea... I don't like when people delete the price and write sold so you can't see what it sold for. I prefer your method or simply editing the original post and posting sold as the first post and also posting "sold" as the last post to close it out

Just fwiw, you can tell from this thread there is no general consensus on what to change, or is there and I just haven't seen it yet?

One thing that is pretty certain, the companies that sell here most likely won't pay any extra to have their own subforum because of 2 things: one is that they won't be in the regular forum listing and the other is that a lot of them don't even subscribe to help support x-h2o for $10, why would they pay more money when they're getting the service for free already?

I've already stated that I would pay extra to be part of a preferred dealers section, if that section was designated for true, legitimate business's in the watercraft industry. Part timer parts hustlers, part out guys aren't dealers and shouldn't be in a dealer section.

I would like to start off with doing the pay to subscribe thing, but I literally cannot find it. I was told it was under the tabs at the top, beneath the logo but I am still missing it. I understand completely the service that this forum provides for the business's that frequent it, and it is absolutely appreciated.

I also tried to do some kind of sponsored banner thing on this forum some time ago but was told there was no interest.

Paid members' usernames are bold/italicized, like steve-uk's and jetmaniac's above.

The difference is so minuscule I had a hard time noticing even when you said something....
