We apologize for this and the new ones when they get cast up will have the holes moved together .45mm on each side. Its a simple fix and if you put a 9mm drill through instead of the 8.5 we used it fixes it no problem, Some people will not even know this is an issue as it bolts straight up with the holes the way they are, its just a little tight on the threads

I’ll admit that I was one of the people who had fitment problems, but I’m writing now to ask if anyone else here that bought one lives in or around Grand Rapids, MI? I’d like to try a different manifold just to see, because I sent mine back to wax (or a proxy, anyway), and he said it worked fine. Thanks in advance.

I received my pre order today. I don’t know when I will install as I am running a lay down right now but the quality and finish I am really impressed with. Thanks wax and I will be ordering the rest of the exhaust as the parts become available

I had to open up all holes to get it where it need to be. Top inner holes had to be lowered to move manifold up some.
My port floors were different heights also ..meaning while 1 side was acceptable the other was lower creating a good step which also affected the roof. This was all before playing with holes. You can acually see it in manifold side towards motor. Yes you play with it an get it closer. Im not complaining it is what is is.
If youd said something couple weeks back im little south of ya might of been able to meet up.

I have not installed my manifold yet, but i did lay it onto cylinder and can only get 2-3 holes lined up at a time. They will all need to be opended up. I have not looked at port match yet.

Put the centre bolts in and then see how it lines up. We are aware that we should have oversized the holes a little and we will next time. It would seem these is more of a variation in the cylinders than what was realised. Other people are bolting them straight up so that’s the confusing part

On another note I have just had a message saying the centre bolt of the triangle 3 bolt face come through the bottom and doesn’t look right. The reason is because the manifold has a clearance cast in it so you can actually get to the centre bolts and do the manifold up. There is 20mm thread depth on a 10 mm bolt. Once you thread a bolt in 1.25 times it’s diameter then you are at full bolt strength. We have enough on there to allow you to put in 2x the bolt width.

On a nother note has anyone ever measured the hole in these pipes for the water injection. I can always pull one of the ones of a ski I have but would be easier if some one knew already

Same here. I’m in need of a head pipe and would like to go with one of these instead of a 20 year old roached out one for similar or more money. I’m going to need it by the end of March, it’s starting to get down to the wire if they’ll be deliverable to the states to then.
