Going to be ordering one soon! Any way to order one without the powder coat? I’ll be doing my own powder and I’d rather not bother stripping it straight out of the package.

We are looking at different coatings to make them the best we can. Leaving them sand cast can make them look rough.

I understand. I do powder coat and would like it to match the rest of the ski. In addition to sanding casting flaws prior to media blasting, using an epoxy powder coat primer first improves adhesion and helps hide imperfections for what it’s worth.

Thanks! Prismatic Powders epoxy primer, illusion blueberry and clear vision on top. Chamber is done in wrinkle black powder. Cerakote is another option, even tougher but so paper thin all flaws are highly visible.

I believe he is working with TNT on a chamber. Another option would be the few places making carbon chambers.
