Could always put a stock setup on to tone it down a bit and make it more rideable haha
I’m on the fence with it
I won’t get much riding time the rest of the season so we’ll see
Maybe I’ll build another 781/stock stroke 66e or somethiny
Gotta get it buttoned up and all the little issues sorted out so I can stare at in on the stand for a year and think about it

Update here
Not going to post pics of the ski until it’s out in the sun and washed real good but the hoods painted and it’s buttoned up.

Made a few changes and tweaks to refine everything a little bit;
- went to a rad adjustable front cover with the intentions to run a stupid light gp800 style wheel i had sitting around BUT the ring gear on the wheel sits about .120 farther back then the rad wheel and I didn’t have the .140 clearance between starter gear and ring so I had to go back to the rad flyhweel.
-silicone one piece exhaust tube
-brand new coil packs (big thanks to Riva for being ontime and reliable as always)
- new tank courtesy of @AlexC651
- new steering cable since the last one was a turd
- new RRP Reduc nozzle courtesy of @tomski
So I can finally get a fair bit of throw to my system.

When I was having issues that I had described as what seemed to me like “pipe surging” it was actually a issue with the front cyl coil having a broken connection that would go in and out with the shaking of the ski. Never had a coil do that to me before, kind of neat, learned something new.

She’s rowdy.
Last pic is of repaired area on hood, not so bad.

Looks great in the sun I dig the color
Thanks!
I wanted the color to be a little lighter but I still like it. It’s hard to get the metallic flake in the pictures.
I’ll have to get out to wave daze this year for sure and meet everyone.
I think I’ll make some changes this winter then change hulls next season so I can start another project. I do love how it rides though.

I got to ride a carbon circus for a few minutes a few weeks ago, very similar setup as yours and equally as violent. My glass -4.3 is still light enough I can pick it up fairly easily with the pole, custom pole bracket, hood, and turf on it. Probably weighs somewhere in the mid 80lb range so yours being carbon is probably 20ish pounds lighter than that. Yours doesn't look very hard to flip either haha

To be honest it’s a little longer than I’d prefer for my typical riding but I could see it being a blast in surf. I’ll most likely move towards a circus or KDX this winter. I can tell you it took me at least 10-15 attempts to successfully land a flip out of a half spin and I feel like I got beat up now lol

Little update…
Removing the turf again and cutting the tray open again soon.
Going to remove the driveshaft tube to reinforce the backside of the pump tunnel so I can hog it out a little more.
Also have to fix a steering cable fitting issue because someone was a little inebriated and forgot to put the nut on the backside before he clamped his NM sealtite down.
Paints already seen better days, bottom deck I’ll be redoing shortly, and I had an ejection with the limiting rope off.
So far hoods holding up ok.
Need to get this thing up to Sanoman standards ASAP or it can never be sold !
