Picked up my new backie chan hull yesterday afternoon and spent most ofthe evening just looking at it. It truly is a work of art. I'm still in shock that I own something like this as it seemed near impossible just a few years ago.

I will be running a Jetmaniac 760 tse (thin sleeve edition)
Bored b-pipe mod chamber
Skat 144 set back mag pump with c75 13/18 and thrust ez trim
Msd enhancer & lightened flywheel for break in... then msd tl will go in.

I got the midshaft, pump, cables, versiplug, and motor mounts in today. Sat the motor in and it's money sitting on couch mounts.

I have to cut my xmetal adjustable pole down and have it welded. Add 2" to my worx 201 and buy a cart tank.

Damn!!!! What a score. What's the stats on the hull? Carbon, glass, crazy bi axial 420 strand Kevlar :), weight, you know the basics.

was over at Steve's shop yesterday and he has some good stuff in the makings.....

I didn't weigh it but I was told 48# no hood or turf. Its pretty light. With midshaft, pump, and motor mounts in it's still easy to flip over on the stand by myself and I'm no john basedow....
Layup is carbon/kevlar. Feels stupid strong.

Oh and about the paint.... I saw this van in a Lowe's parking lot and though it looked cool. Sent the pic to Steve and told him to use for inspiration but to do his thing. So happy with how it turned out.

Is this going to be at nc beach?

Probably not. I'll be running total loss and a sealed enclosure isn't currently fitting in the budget. My fx1 is irreplaceable in the surf anyway. This will be a dedicated flatwater ski.

Yes and we will all treat it like a hoe!

Are we riding this Chan Sat or Sun,John?

Did you get that swisscheeserocket floating on it's own yet?

Aw man! I really want to try one. Im seriously considering just leaving my flatwater setup in my freak and slathering the total loss in grease just to avoid switching out my motor, pipe, and pump to my surf drivetrain I have put together waiting for money for a hull.

What a good looking boat. And I love the inspiration van. How cool would it be to rock that van and pull that ski out of the back
