i took a rickter in a couple months back, told them the hull was a starter kit and all the rest of the parts came from a registered running ski. I was out in 10 minutes and they didn't even want to look at it. And this was in California. Have Steve send you an 'invoice' that just says backie chan hull starter kit with your name on it.

Made my hin on the machine for engraving pets names on a tag at pets mart. They have a rectangle tag with holes on each end to put rivets through.. Can't take the credit for that one though, saw one on gomez's boat.

Sort of a generic question to anyone who has their hull already and/ or to Steve. How are ya'll going to tie down the rear?

I don't see any retention points on the completed skis, and I assume drilling a hole through the kevlar for a standard bow eye is gonna suck.

In a perfect world I would like to run one of these, or something similar off to the side.

But I don't want to undo the turf to install it. So maybe a bow eye in the back is the best.

second pic shows good way to tie your ski down.

Personally I never tie my bars down with a bungee cord because it always keeps constant pressure on the bars and usually ends up making steering sloppy in the end, and second thing I wouldn't do is tie down my ski to my pump, I just don't like thinking about all the pressure put on the pump while in transport and cinched down tight. Steve add some u bolts on the chans bro.. :)

do you tie your pole down with a chain binder?? i dont see how it could make your steering sloppy with the light force of a bungee..
