barrel roll

so im building a ski up and this is what i have in the motor so far 701 61 x
dual carbs ,msd enhancer , lightweight flywheel , protec exhaust and head will this be enough brap for a barrel roll or does it matter.

doubt you will be rolling on flatwater if that's your squarenose in your pic... not to discourage you.... you might be able to do it off a big boat wake like the kind the boat makes when they do a U and they meat together... like a big setup wake...

You could roll off some waves up at Erie

even with my roundnose with every bolt-on mod it took me more than 100 attempts before I landed a clean one off my own setup wake.

I have witnessed a guy roll a bone stk SXR in flat with only his setup wake and also pulled off a couple w/o a set up wake doin em off the bounce!!!

hell, I saw it and still dont believe it. It was at the last Lanier ride. There is a vid link on here somewhere and you can see him do it over and over and over and over and over. LOL

I think you can do it with a SN 701 + mods on your own Flatwater set up wake if you properly know how to set up your wake !!

225lbs and heavily modded 650 x2, no set up just off the bounce. not plate to plate but near full rolls.

you guys are crazy! its not all about power. i was getting 3/4 damn near landing b-roll on my own set up wake, on a bone stock 650, prop only, that year dayton b-rolled my same ski twice in comp, in washington. just technique thats all, but power does help.

He's right, Dayton could roll almost anything as long as it has footholds.

Dayton needs to cut out that big pre hop and pick up a little more speed so his rolls would be flawless his rotation is killer.

Thats my 2cents watching em.

you will be more than able to
just practice

on my old single carb 750 sx i was rolling on ski wakes ( granted not plate to plate, but how many actually do?)
same mods as you ( rad flywheel coffman pipe, msd)

it's all about practice and gonads
