I just had a WPS crap out on me that had very low usage. My Battery Tender lithium is still going strong though.

I had an old one and lasted forever. This other one was on the shelf and in my truck in the heat so probably my fault but only in my ski 10 hrs. Oh well it was an extra that came with the ski so I didn't pay full retail. Battery tender next for me tho! What size for an 1100cc motor running pump gas but charging system? Or for you hink what are you using on yours with 1100cc and TL

I have been using the 240cca on my 1100 and 1000, cranks good, but the 300 is probably more sensible.

Using TL I'm assuming or charging system? I wouldn't be afraid of a smaller battery if I have a charging system. But if I have TL and bilges I'm assuming larger size battery will run longer. Am I correct or are the number strictly cranking amps and only matter for starting up the motor?

Vinny runs a charging system, I run TL. The only time I had my Battery Tender lithium go dead from riding was in Daytona, but it was on the water from 8am to 4 pm with not much time spent on the shore. I do not have a bilge pump.

I'm about to take the plunge and the best reviews and price combo seems to be the battery tender lipo.

If it's a bad idea or there is something better for less with an easy plug and play charger then someone speak up now please!

Argh!!!!!!! I just realized that the 480 won't fit in my limited slip tank. Dammit! I assumed they were all small. I should know better.
Put that ls tank in surf ski and spend money on the battery for circus and get different tank

I have a custom 2.5 gallon firewall tank. It just means I have to fabricate a battery holder/rrp total loss enclosure bracjet that will go where a gas tank usually sits. Time to order some more epoxy.
