Beach cart users, would like your opinions.

I have "C" and think it is the the best thing since sliced bread. I paid $100 for it to see if I would use it and now I would buy another reguardless of the cost. It sits low to the ground so that picking a ski off of the beach is easy. And it must have a winch to pick a ski off of the gound after you are wore out. The tongue is long enough that you can ballance a sitdown on ther if you need to. The only problem with mine is someone borrowed it at Lanier and loaded a blsater on it and slid it all the way to the front. Only 2 or 3 inches was hanging off of the back and it bent the tongue when they bounced it over the railroad ties heading down to the water.

I have worked off of mine many times and for engine work it is fine but you wouldn't want to do a turf job on the tote. The bottom of my ski is about 1 inch above the tires.

Your picture "B" turned up side down and the wheels on the other side would be about the same as "C" Just make a Y out of the ladder and put a handle on there with a winch.

Had a Killer tote for about 10 years now, all aluminum, breaks down in a miute, when the ski is on it about the same height as average pick-up bed, makes it nice to use as a work stand, your not hunched over.

i disagree about the "no need for a winch"

after 4-5 hours of riding...there's no way in hell I have the engery to just drag my ski up on the stand.......

I like the design of A the best...the tiger tote..

FWIW: There is a new tote out there made by "Factory Zero" (Jap made). HotProducts offers it but they were on long backorder when I called. The Factory Zero and TBM units are all based off the original Big-Foot "Tigertote" (picture A in first post). However, what I really liked about the Big-Foot was the rails use large diameter round tubing and is more gentle on the hull (unlike the square type).

After much searching, I bought the one pictured in photo "A" - picture is of my actual tote

Here is the Factory Zero unit:
