best freestyle hull for rec use as well

We have a Rok, and 2 Carbon superfreaks in our riding crew, all of us ride rec. freestyle. We ride in the chesapeake which sometimes is flatwater and sometimes is near surf conditions. We haven't had an issue with ridability in any of our conditions. We have another riding buddy buddy that currently has a squarenose and he is going with a carbon freak next year and he has ridden both options as he feels it is more comfortable and versatile as far as tricks are concerned for what its worth.

what motors aer in them..
Are you able to flat water backflip them, how do they compare..

thanks for all the info! I made the choice to give the bob a try, ordered it about a month back now, gen 2 carbon hull with a 760cc and a mag pump upgrade. Now just gotta wait for spring to come so I can start ridin it!

I personally can't but I have seen my ski flatwater flipped with my motor. I have a Jetmaniac 710, sectioned mod b pipe, maniac modded dual 38's, x-metal gen 2 waterbox, and scat setback mag pump. I am going to a bigger motor for the upcoming year. We do not ride flatwater too much here but it has been done. I believe there is footage on YouTube of Lucas flipping a freak with a stock 701, and mine is a lil bigger than that.

My buddy Ed has a big bore 781 done by a local engin builder, 49mm full spec carbs, he is running a modded blaster pipe, x-metal gen2 waterbox with a stock pump.

<====== And not that it matters full price was paid for this ski, it was the best money I have ever spent. I am not sponsored by Jetmaniac, I paid full price for my motor, he has really saved both myself and the majority of the members of this message board when things break. He has everything in stock and gets you the parts you need so you can ride with your buddies when your ski is broke. That's why I promote for him. Check the feedback section. I'm just providing my opinion on what I think about aftermarket hulls, parts etc.. I have paid for every part on this ski, just ask my soon to be wife the accountant how much I have wrapped up in it. 'Cause she can tell you to the cent.

No doubt you will be beyond satisfied with the customer service you recieve with Derrick! We cant wait to get ours next week and set em up and give ride reports on Saturday!

The ski works great! I got to ride it the other night and with a 760 single carb it is super huckable, almost flips as good as my 865ss. Very easy to ride and gets nice pop off the water! Theres videos of jack sutton riding it on youtube somewhere.

Nice, I'm glad you like it! I love how my BOB handles. Are you riding around fort mac?

You should come south and ride with some of us around edmonton. There's 3 XFS's, my gen3 and 2 Matrix's now

How far are you from Fort Mac? I'm flying in to Fort Mac in August/ September for a couple weeks to train Turbosauce74 for World Finals. Might have to meet up and ride one weekend!

whispy join our western canadian riders thread. this way we can try to get a big ride to happen. I think were planning on riding ethal lake (10min out of cold lake) june 23 weekend. always looking for more people to ride with. all good people in our crew. if you need a place to stay we got a cabin there. come try out some hulls and power plants. we all try going with different setups to compare and build a better ski for the next person. ive wanted to try a gen 2 badly so i hope you can come. i really like the gen3. i love my xfr by the way too, but it is heavy. it rides very light though.
