Zachary..... Why does your motor have the large spacer plate under the Cylinder and mine doesn't? did you go larger than a 4mm stroker crank? Thought I was getting the largest displacement available. was told mine was a 870cc after all said and done. Orig thought it was going to be closer to a 1000cc ????? Just curious......

There she IS

It was actually a lot easier then we thought to fit that monster in an sxi pro 2 cuts on the hull for the pipe a little grinding near the dry pipe stinger and its going to take some extensive hood trimming but all in all NOT BAD
Any ideas for exhaust kawi forgot the simple rubber pipe going forward arround the tank and coming back
I was thinking a combo of stainless and rubber hose like from a turbo shop
or some stainless steel flexi exhaust
could cut and bend one but thats a lot of time and welding bending and cutting

Any volunteers for helping sand paint and glass only the finest prime steaks and coldest budweiser in SD for guests

Here's a few pics of the new billet Kawi stator covers SB Products is producing. The fit and finish is flawless! Thanks Brian, finishes off the new motor perfectly :)

These should be in the SXIPro forum...but here ya go. Zack and Jeff modded the hell out of this hull to get this 977 monster in there...test riding as we speak. :naughty:

TOBEK and other Kawasaki ridersBillet pickup strap Kommander Ink.jpg - you need one more billet part. It's the billet clamp to hold your trigger pickup solid. Kommander Industries sells them and you wont loose your pickup. Once you go high rpm or big bore the vibrations kick up and the plastic weld of the stock black pickup fails on the retaining tab. This nice pc. from Kommander will prevent failures. Nice addition to your billet.

THANKS for the heads up....will have to get one of those.

Rode this thing last night..... HOLLY MOLLY, its FAST! and mine is only a 900, cant imagine Zak's 977 or whatever it is. mines the perfect bouy boat, really wouldn't anymore power, its a hand FULL now.

Next project will be a HUGE Dasa motor/SB Products billet case in a pre-08 SJ. or Bob hull.

4 mil stroke, Novi 46s, wet pipe (Had to modify headpipe to clear PV), bone stock electrics, TBM flywheel.....pretty simple and very reliable

Ill sell everything if anyones serious (dont mean to thread jack), but going to a more flatwater based setup for next yr.

I dont have pics on my comp to upload, but i have some on my FB I think

Daniel

If you can post pics of how you had to clear the head pipe that would help.
I dont use Face book im not a 14 year old girl.

Would you say storker is worth the extra money over the stock strok? I have a stock nice trued and welded crank so I was going to run that.

I dont have any pics of the pipe, but I basically just ground the area the PV hit until it cleared at full extention. I ended up grinding through the water jacket, and basically had to weld up the "valley" until it was all sealed shut, after I test fitted it several times until I got the clearance right.

As far as stock stroke goes, i dunno...but what I DO know, is that mine hits pretty damn hard being stroked.

I picked up an unported stock stroke top end this past august . After running it a couple of hours doing break in and working on pipe fitment , just sent it to Tim Judge the porting master . Will be going with 4mm crankworks built crank . I grinded on the underside of head pipe and started out with spacer . After some more grinding I got it to where P.v. Would clear using 3 gaskets instead of spacer . Didn't go further because it was getting thin . Will go ahead and do the weld setup , as it won't have to be a big cut like on the yamaha setups . Also picked up a west coast manifold which can be bored , unlike the factory pipe manifold that has water jackets around upper flange . Should have it all back together in about 3 weeks . It is going to be a beast .
