I've had to do the same thing to my Superfreak.
It'd be nice if it fit right, but it's really no big deal to modify, either.
True it wasn't hard to do at all, we just had to egg out the mounting holes on the pumps to make them fit.

One more thing I wanted to add, is we were that weight was not a factor, and since you guys ride in Lake Michigan, we were told to make the hulls beefy and bullet proof. Weight didnt matter, just make them strong, and thats what we did.
Also, we've been retooling all of our equipment, including new moulds. We made new moulds for our Gen2s, because over time, the fit and finish of each hull slightly deteriorates as the moulds get used. After 60 units, we decided it was over due, and new moulds help with the standard fit & finish of each unit. You guys got the last ones from our old moulds, but in all honesty, I thought they still looked amazing.
At $4,000, our clients are purchasing a VERY inexpensive hull, and one that functions the way its supposed to. We don't sell show-room hulls, we sell affordable products that work the way they should.
What ever happened to Function over Fashion? I thought the point of Freestyle was to do Backflips and Barrel Rolls, not brag about whos ski is prettier (I thought only racers did that?)

I was just making a general statement about the BOB hulls in general. That was not intended toward you... just so you know
After the first ride on my bob I put it in my enclosed trailer. The next day I pulled it out and noticed the graphics were starting to come of so I just went over all of them pressing down and since then haven't had a single problem. Still look as good as when I first pulled it out of the crate
TPAIN what motor are you running? (specifically in the video)
Good to see BOB backs their product and has good customer service , and also that they want to progress the sport with newer hulls and more options for riders
Thanks

you must not be using the proper materials for the mold, the tooling gelcoat and resin is important ,we have 100 plus parts made off our molds and the parts along with mold still look new
In my opinion its a fun ski to ride. You dont need alot of power or money. The price is also hard to beat. I have built 3 in the last year and everyone comes out better and better. We build all kinds of skies and have pretty much done every After Market hull. My first BoB Gen 1 was flipped off of a 2ft boat wave with a Stock 61x motor, Ada head, Factory pipe, NO TRIM. Also dealing with Derick is Awesome. Always did the right thing by me. Im sure if you gave him $1500.00 more on top of the 4000 you can have a bettter finish. Just my opinion. You can Spend $8000.00 on my Superfreek and still do all the same work. It is what it is. Sorry
My Gen 2 was made even better. You have to admit they are fun to ride.
Hey Tpain your pole look damn short, how tall are you ??
