can you flip of your own wake ?

I have only had one day of semi flatwater riding since I've had this hull and was able to try two flips before my driveshaft blew out. I only made it about 3/4 of the way around. I'm sure with some practice I will make it no problem. Besides I have never even tried flips before I got my bob, and in the first day riding in 2 foot surf I was making flips no problem :)

Hopefully m and the guys can make a trip south soon to get some somewhat warmer flatwater testing in 35 degree water isn't fun to play in when its flat......but were hoping for some surf today and its suppose to be upper 30's air temp so we might be out this afternoon:)

After a little grinding, welding and cutting the mod ride plate was ready for testing..... and turned out to be an awesome surf conversion plate:)

NIce work, tell us if it work well!

The plate worked awesome! It made my Bob feel almost like my old roundnose superjet-not nearly as nose high and made it easier to spin and recover without going into a tailstand( normally happens due to my weight). Didnt have any real waves to test it on but overall the feedback from all of us was a smile!

This is what happen when you practice a sport that we love soooo much, some dedication to the sport....hahahah.....you are crazy, we ride those conditions only in spring, when the ice start to go off the lake !!

Well its nice to know that we aren't the only wack jobs that ride in frosty conditions! The right gear makes it pretty doable year round

I tried the dry suit, but my finger is still white after 40min of ride because the drysuit dont cover my hand. And if i wear glove more than 4mm, i dont feel the throttle anymore.

How long do you ride in these conditions ??

I wear a quicksilver 5/4/3 semi wet suit and a slippery tour coat with hood and helmet. For shoes I wear wrestling shoes with neoprene socks and hotfeet pissers. Hands are just heatseeker gloves with hothand pissers.

We usually ride through about 5 gallons of fuel each- about 3 to 4 20 minute sessions.

We also felt that there was way too much foot pod taking up tray space. So we did our own Bob pod mod:)

Was thinking i would do the same thing to free up the tray area! Do you think there would be some way to easily extend one of the pots back a few inches for more versatility when in surf stance? Not say move it back (as in move the bolts), but actually make the pod longer front to back?
