It won't be ready for this weekend so that's a no. I am thinking about riding Sunday but i'd have to get Jen's ski all put back together in time.

isn't that what you are supposed to be doing while you were waiting on the hull? :chairshot:

There is no way I can do a complete build, but your build got me inspired enough to get an engine in the works with the only manufacturer that makes sense for me (can ya guess who) ... then next year (hopefully) I can try to decide on a hull manufacturer.

That's how my first complete build came around. I was riding a 96RN with a limited 701 and was gathering everything to build up a ported 760 for it. I had everything I needed to assemble the engine when a sweet 07 hull came up for sale and I decided to build a complete new ski and pass the 96 on to my wife. Little did I know at that time how many more parts were involved than the motor and hull but thankfully guys like Jetmaniac were around. I think I was one of Chris's first big customers where he provided basicallly all the little parts to complete the build and some of the major parts as well. Ski builds are like tattoos, once you finish one, you will always be thinking about the next one.

I have also been working on the Bilge setup over the last few weeks and came up with an ultra sano install that is clean, simple and bulletproof. I ended up with enough material to build multiple harnesses and so will be offering them up in limited quantities for friends, fellow riders and board members. I have started a thread in the new products section to keep it seperate from my build thread.

View thread here;http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/74993
I am calling it the "Tidy Bilge Harness" and can taylor them to meet your specific needs.

It's clean , simple and bulletproof and we will all soon be wondering why something like this has not been done already. Pricing will depend on options selected but the base harness will be around $45 for a single bilge and $55 for a double and will include a complete bilge harness, shipping, instructions and materials to connect to your switch and pump(s) of choice.

I am currently using the Attwood T500 Tsunamis. They seem to be pretty good so far but I've only got a year of runtime on them to date.

John at Jetski Solutions does such nice work. He really is one of the most underrated leaders in out industry.

Ski is going to be awesome Boyer.

I will agree and his work is what inspired me to create a solution for the bilge pumps that meets my own personal standards and aligns with the quality work that john already provides.

I am suprised he has not come up with something like that!!

Nice Work Boyer.

Make no doubt, John will be more than happy to create anything you ask him too, including a harness just like this one. We discussed something along these lines for my 07 build but it just got pushed to the wayside so I have had the idea in my head for over a year now and decided to finally make it happen for my Matrix build. John offered to build it for me but I've been thinking about it for so long now, it was something i wanted to do myself. I enjoy being a part of the sport and like the idea of making my own contribution and so this is it.

P.S. The harness pictured is the Beta model for my personal ski. All the kits I sell will be utilizing the same OEM style Jap connects that will work with OEM. The first batch of connectors i ordered were similar in quality but are 3.5mm connectors and are not compatable with OEM or JSS connectors.

Good work Boyer...I'm giving your old "silver bullet" the clean-up treatement tonight/tomorrow in AM for a weekend worth of riding. I'll post a few pics for you to remember her by. She misses you.

I don't miss it one bit, I only had it for a couple weeks. I thought you stripped that ski right after you got it?
