Google maps says 15hrs, Joe says a little over 12hrs from Charleston so we shall see.

I'll let you all know on Monday how long it took.

I live in Binghamton, NY and you will pass right through. It is about an hour and 30 minutes south of your new hull. If you need anything, 607-341-3571

Most likely. Trying to think about what I want to do to it but my brain is shutting down. My wife is taking a turn behind the wheel as we have now been on the road nonstop since 4:30pm yesterday. (going on 19 hours now). GPS says 12 more hours to home but Amex is saying get a room and recharge.

Finally home! Left Friday night at 4:30pm and got home today around 2:30pm. It took 42 hours and 5 tanks of fuel to go 1900 miles. We left right after work on Friday and drove all through the night, picked up the hull saturday morning and made it another 7 hours before finally stopping for the night. Got up at 4:30am this morning and drove the last 9 hours home. With traffic, accidents and general stops it took 16 hours to get there and 14 to get back.

Just so you don't think we know how to stop and smell the roses, we made one small detour and checked out the Crystal Grottoes Caverns. Very cool and well worth the $20 entry fee. They said we couldn't take pics so the website will have to do.

6 Months to gather/sell and prep parts and wait for everything to arrive,
3 months of petting my X-Scream engine on the bench telling it, "Soon, baby soon",
16hr round trip down to Florida to pick up the hull,
4 days of staring at everything every night after work just waiting for the weekend to assemble
15 hrs to fully assemble ski and get it running,
10 hrs to do a mediocre turf job that will last forever,
5 more days of work until the weekend and my first chance to ride...

And it was worth every second of the wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LET THE RIDING BEGIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From the Trinity website;

Our MATRIX Pro hull construction process comes from our extensive knowledge in aerospace technology. We start with an epoxy primer providing a light and fracture resistant surface. Next we precisely laminate our hull. A combination of carbon fiber and Kevlar fabrics are placed in molds engineered exactly to specifications. Composite fabrics are infused with aerospace grade high temperature epoxy resin. This resin provides a higher tensile strength than any other available today. The final step in lamination is to vacuum bag our components. This provides laminate consolidation resulting in a lighter and stronger product. Once the components are fully cured they are removed from the mold and inspected. The components are then glued together with the best methacrylate structural adhesive and secured with quality hardware. Using this controlled process we are able to ensure that every MATRIX hull is of the same caliber as the next.

It feels much lighter than my ES hull but the scale says differently. I was expecting it to be at least 30 lbs lighter but it is more like 20. Hull with turf, footholds, hood seal, ratchet strap and dual thrust pump dumps is 95lbs, hood with breather tubes and pole crush pad is another 10.5lbs. Total weight is 104.5lbs where my ES was 124.5 lbs.

The hood is super thin and it's very noticeable in the hand hold area that the outer skin is less than half the thickness of the ES hood.

Work permitting, I plan to assemble it this week and have it ready for the following weekend.
