Freestyle Brigantine Beach Bash

Ride or no ride... I have valuable time off from work that I cant switch around and i'm riding surf out there some where... I expect you other die hards will do the same worst case scenerio.

I'm told that we can ride Corson's Inlet with no issues.

We have until 4 today to cancel and not be charged by the hotel. Any info before then would be much appreciated.

Corsins backup is a good plan......however for the Vendors (wouldn't be hard to get the stuff setup.) the Ramp parking lot is a great size to have a party

Worst case scenario , there's a free ramp at the Brigantine Rowers Club and drive around to the Kove ! Make our own event
Is that the ramp on the far side of brigantine where I dropped the pin? Parking lot there is really small and it's def a far ride around to the cove.

What about just setting up @ The Cove... Beach access...

Beach pass is $175 add a trailer and ski and that price doubles plus you have to insure the ski. Besides if Brig isn't allowing the event they are sure going to frown on setting up somewhere else without permission.

I'm down for riding no matter what, just a question of where

This could royally suck for people that know of the freeride, but dont frequent the forums. There is a group of like 10 guys from my hometown area that rented a house to come down, but they are never on the forums.

I called to talk to them about my "upcoming trip with my family" and told them about how ive been to the cove in the past and would like to take my family there for a weekend since its amazing. I was told unless I was active military they WILL NOT issue a temporary permit. She did however offer me a permit for $175. They are hoping in the future to offer weekend permits with less of a price.

So what's a temporary permit for active military...?

Believe me, I would not have cancelled my hotel room if we could get a day 4x4 pass.

Corson's inlet is about 40mins (30miles) away from Laguna Bar in Brig. While Corson's is an awesome ridespot, its not really a good place to bring any non-riders (GF's, wives, friends). Small parking lot and ramp will be a big PIA with alot of ppl showing up, and vendors can forget setting up there.... Fingers crossed the ride gets saved.

Agreed. Good ride spot , however very very shallow with sandbars. Not the best place for Unfamiliar riders. Trust me..... I nearly sunk 2 blasters this season alone.
