I do a lot of solo river riding. So I really do not want to even risk the chance of being stranded. Its bad enough that I dont have a reserve line anymore. I have been entertaining the idea of keeping 2 liters of premix inside the engine compartment in case, but would need to find a nice durable container first.

Secondly, I would love to use advent, but I cannot find one cheaply.

Both TL's I've had got at the very least 2 full tanks out of a battery, and that is with two 500GPH's running full time, and lots of restarts.

And with a good battery (Jetworks, NOT!!! Odyssey) you get three to four tanks.

Can't comment on the Buckshots, as I've never used them. That said, I have never heard/read anything good about them for rec riding/freestyle use.

Nope. :haha:

They suck ass. Their customer service (or lack thereof) sucks more ass.

And I suspect Mouthfull will be showing up to claim the opposite any second now. I think he's got an alarm email sent to him anytime I speak of Odysseys.

IM not claiming anything.

But I will say, ive got 5 of them in service for 2 seasons now, with NOT A SINGLE problem.

Very important difference though, i DO NOT run any total loss ignitions.

so my batteries never need charging. ( other than from the boats they are in obviously)

My issues with Oddyssey had nothing to do with Total Loss.

Mechanical failure. And absolutely assinine customer service failure.

I have had some issues with Odyessy batteries myself, luckily I get them from WPS,they warranty them no questions asked. Personally I like the Jetworks batteries for my personal boats or the WPS sealed battery that I run in the X2.
