After committing to a westbound Freeride trip this year, while late to the game, I also committed to changing hulls. I've really enjoyed the last three years on my carbon brawler playing in the flat water game. I'm done chasing the flat water back flip and I'm ready for a new hull that is more universal. Ride surf, chase v-wakes, carve leg drag turns, chasing boats, and sure some flat water! After many phone calls and sleepless nights, I ordered a Rickter XFR-LT in visual Textreme with custom XFR American colors
I ordered the hull in April and knew I "might" have a chance of getting it in time. Knowing I wouldn't have long to build, I've spent the last few months detailing my build in documents, asking questions, and ordering lots and lots of parts. As far ahead as I am, I still feel behind. Custom skis, custom problems. Many thanks to Brian at Thrust for helping me in the parts selections. It's all sitting on my living room floor
I actually wrote off building this for my trip but... I just got a tracking number and the hull should be delivered Friday Sept 7th! Time to talk myself into gutting my perfectly good running ski and starting the build! Who's with me!?!
