That's a nice looking setup. Maxx looks to have done a solid job on construction. BUILD, BUILD, BUILD! I want a ride report.

Hope you're right. Plenty of people out there that have similar air inlets on their hoods and thought the same thing. Might want to take the time now and glass over the openings, then cut 3-4 hole and attach breather tubes that run to the bilge. Just a suggestion before its all built. Stoked for ya, I really like the looks and price point of the hull. Looks to be a great performer in the vids we have seen.

??? How did you get that? I didn't suggest glassing the inlets, I'm talking about the outlets in the liner, I guess I should've said liner. I assumed you would've gathered that I was speaking of the liner when I continued with the addition of 3-4 breather tubes. Just a suggestion, but I believe you will either do it now or do it later.

a few years ago at WF, the japan guys had holes drilled thru the top of the hood for air and you could see the motor. amount of air needed is going to depend on motor size. the designer of that hood must have thought those front vents to be okay. he probably knows more than we do.

That sounds a bit extreme, i will check with maxx hee has a 1200 in hees boat.

I'm not concerned so much with the inlets as I am with the outlets at the liner. That water comes in and will somehow make its way to your carbs. Just a suggestion mind you, but there is a reason so many of us run breather tubes down to the bilge area, as opposed to just openings in the liner. You don't need them for some reason, great. Good luck, its lookin great. Have fun.

I know what you meen, and will take a look att it. For now i will leave it alone.

Does it have a scupper? If no scupper and only a bilge pump, then water can't really get in anyways when it's upside down since the air inside can't get out. But if there's a scupper, I'd recommend tubes as well, or just make sure it never ends up upside down...!

any pics of the progress? ive never followed a build before but im real anxious to get a ride report. to me it looks like you can only ride it 50' from shore nose high all the time. like a purpose built backflip machine exclusively. im hoping im wrong and its a good freeride hull also. another thing is that the footholds require dakine straps. just weird to me. maybe its more comfortable.

If you wante too freeride get a superjet, this is made for freestyle. I dont think the nose high will bee that bad, the "wheelie bars" att the back will keep it straight.
