Sunday night I ingested water; I got towed in about half mile. Pulled plugs and thought I got all the water out. Wouldn't fire but had spark. Got tired went to bed.
Monday after work we had it upside down and more water was coming out. Creating that milky white gunk on my new plugs. It back fired a few times but would not run.
I wonder if towing it in could fill my engine and then put water in my gas tank. So I tried running it off some fresh mixed, no go.
A few weeks ago same ski was running great then backfired randomly and it sheared the woodroof key. I made sure the timing was set right and it hadn't moved when I replaced it.
Could the backfire yesterday shear it again? I used a torque wrench to put flywheel bolt on at 65.
Is it usual to backfire when starting a slightly wet engine?
What is the best way to make sure all the water it out from the engine. Tip to exhaust or all the way over?
What should I try when I go home today? Am I screwed bc rust may have already formed?
Any help appreciated
