just curious.. why do you run 100ll and so low pressure? you probably could run pump gas to

Hi guys, I'm Alberto, from Spain.

I have a little problem with my blaster1.

**This usually happens to me when I come from a large straight**

Normally is running ok, but sometimes (NOT always) when I'm exiting to a corner (still bowed ski), I open the gas at 50% and the ski don't push, like no fuel in the carbs. But if I finish to open the gas at 100% the ski regains strength. I had one problem in the past when I put all the kit protec in my ski but was because I didn't jetted the carbs and the problem was insufficient fuel... Main jet:130 Pilot jet: 70 (normal) But now I feel that my actual problem is different... I feel that this actual problem started when I removed the choke...

Normally this problem don't do it when the fuel tank is almost full.... but when is going at 40-50% the fuel tank, do it....
I'm running always with reserve line.

I was reading all this post and looking how has the people jetted the carbs and I think I'm not missing but...........I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

So, now I tell you how I have jetted my carbs actually.

Main type of riding = RACE (MILD MOD)
Would it pass the 10 second WOT test =WOT???? I don't understand this...sorry
Powerband = Low-mid (top speed is 51mph)
Motor type/setup = 62t/61x no ported (701) stock pistons. Protec pipe, protec recreational head, protec cdi +800rpm, carbon reeds, prok filters, choke removed, primer, aluminium waterbox, jetworks control valve...

I explained my problem the best I can, sorry for my english.
If anyone can help me would be incredible.

Thanks guys
Alberto

Is anyone feeding a Bpipe 701 with a single 38 or 44 OEM carb?

Surprised I didn’t find anything in the 12 pages about a single 38 or 44 feeding any setup.

I run a bpipe on my 61x/61x oem single 44 2.0n/s 125h 145l oem flame arrester 175psi.

Alberto: I run my 38s at 2.0n/s 80l 145h popoff 22psi stock flame arrestor and choke plates installed.

It is important when changing the flame arrestors or removing choke to rejet or change popoff. Read the mukuni manual again to double check me but I am pretty sure if you decrease air restriction ie f/a you will need to lower popoff.

Thanks Fro Diesel, I make a change in my carbs this morning. Now I have 80low and 140high, all the rest stock. I think will go better. ;)
Alberto,

Your current jetting looks good for a stock motor.

You most likely need to lower your pop off to compensate for the choke removal. If I were you, I would first change the pop-off spring. You need a gauge to measure pressure if you don't have one.

Anyone running a 46mm wet jet carb and intake ? I have a 701 with 46mm wetjet carb and intake. Hooker 9/15, milled head pump gas, lightened flywheel, factory b limited pipe. And freestyle porting by newmiller. No idea where to start?

Annular discharge carbs like these do not generally use conventional jetting specs. I'd prefer not toasting my motor
