You will have an easy time if you follow the general population here on the tunning. I think it was page 4 that had the edited list

Guys, Ive been on this thread since long time ago and always got awesome infos but now Im stucked in a so simple tune issue.

I own a 2012 SJ that had B pipe, ADA, MSD E, V force...
I was running 38's with aprox 95 pilot, 50 psi, 145 main,...

I just got it back to stock and I never got it running well.
Its a completely stock motor.
I copied the infos here and there and set it as:
70 pilot
55 psi
135 main (did not find 130's)
Low adjuster about 1 1/4
High adjuster about 1 1/4
Stock F/A

I have no low end, a lot of hesitation, a not good middle and no top end.

I have some experience tunning skies but not stock stuff and not these 38's with so hard access. It is almost impossible to turn one of the inners adjuster and so a good receipt is needed.

Just keep in mind that fuel in Brasil are horrible and has tons of ethanol.

Thanks for the inputs.

Increased ethanol will need slightly larger jetting. As it does when running any alcohol fuels.

Have no doubt but there's a similar ski that I copied stock jettings from and it is running something like this... Maybe lower popoff.

Your pop off should be around 30 with the oem airbox in place

That makes sence.

I tried ski without F/A when first water test and it was better than now... For this reason I thought that Im a little rich after stock F/A on.

Less air = richer. Yes or no??

Less air will make it run richer yes

So, thats why I increased popoff a little bit after install stock F/A and noticed a slightly poorer performance.

If Im lean it would be worse without F/A.

Am I wrong??

So, next attempt is to lower popoff a little bit and increase pilot jet.

Thank you guys.

Just make sure you test popoff with a gauge.. Had some bad experiences with my Springs being way off

Try this. The pop off should be high with the 38's.
130 highs-1 1/4
70 lows-1 3/4
1.5 N&S
115 gram spring

Quinc, this is pretty close of what I have but the low adjuster. I have it at 1 1/4.
I doubt it can make a so big diference.
Maybe there's something else wrong.
Thanks

Try turning the screws another .5 turns riCher and see if anything changes. If not go in .5 turns lower. If there is still no change it is possible your issue is electric related.
