Stock Setup

Hey Guys

This may sound like a dumb Question. I need to return my B1 carb back to stock form, sellin the ski so need to return to normal.

What size are the jets in a bone stock B1 and what size would I use with a K&N FA? If anyone can help me out it would be super. If you know the fine tuning as well that would help but its not mandatory!

Thanks Boyz:friday:

ok so after many different configurations, i am now currently at 140m 120p 2.0ns 95g with 25psi pop off. it hits like a ton of bricks at all throttle positions other than when i hold it at 1/4 throttle then go wot. It makes a gargleing noise.... im taking suggestions as to what i need to change

Hey..chrisdoc0608,what did you end up with your pop-off setting to work out the 1/4 throttle richness...& are those duals?

This is a good thread...it needs to continue.......

i need help on a base line to start with my jetting.

i have a 61x with an r+d head making 200psi with a 46 on there right now. i just bought a b pipe(mod) and dual 44 mikuni"s w/prok f/a and r+d dual 61x manifold. I am about to put the pipe and carbs on, but i need a baseline of what jets i should put in to begin tuning. any help would be great. pipe screw setting may also help.

this one should be easy, and factory pipe actually has their own recommendations, but not sure if they keep in mind the use of a different ignition.

I am running a 701 (61X) with a factory mod B pipe and MSD Rev Enhancer.

Also, the different weight springs, I believe they are different colors, correct? If you specifiy spring weight, let me know what color it is.

Freestyle poser
Running a 61X with the stock single SBN 44 and a B-pipe. I'll be adding a head soon with 35cc domes. Anyone have an idea of what jets and needle/seat I should be getting with it? Also, should I be messing with the spring at all here?

Brand = riva
Model = powerbomb
Size = 48mm
Quantity = 1
Main Jet = 155
Pilot Jet = 130
Needle/Seat= 2.5
Pop off 95g spring

Gas Octane = 91, 36:1 mix

Main type of riding = freeride, freestyle
Would it pass the 10 second WOT test = yes
Powerband = good throughout but not much topend power due to porting
Motor type/setup = .5 over 61x motor with wiseco pistons. port matching and freestyle porting. decked cylinder, thrust girdled head with 35cc domes 180psi. 61x cases. boyesen reeds, k&n flame arrestor, protec enhancer. oh and a coffman sizzler pipe( like a bpipe)

im not sure why but i tried matts setup and there was DEFINATELY not enough fuel goin to my motor so i slowly jetted up and this is where i ended up. i might try and switch back to the 115g spring to see how it works but its hittin hard all around.
