I'm trying to make the ski as short as possible and I'm kind of making a cheap mans version of a set back pump lol. I did keep it in case I wanted to mold it back it but I'm not sure if I will. I will be cutting more off, I just have to decide how much more.

Life got in the way but I'm back at it again. Got the nose cut and put the homemade trim kit in. Once I curve the nose, I'll start the glass work.

Yep. I'm going to go to homedepo and get some wedges or stir sticks, cut the bottom up and arc it, wedging it with the wedges.

Cool your going for it. It'll take alot of skill to get that thing around or a surf wave.
Keeping everything as light as you can and having a short short hull will help, add some tubbies so it's still be rideable. I built a rockered round nose a few years ago for a friend.

I'm actually how this came out. The nose broke off on me accidentally but it worked out in my favour. Also I reused the domain the nose to get the round shape for when I'm glassing it. And yes, I jammed whatever I could find around the shop to make the gaps lol.

I would do a few later if glass over that pole Sean where it was cut and each layer go a few inches further up and down the pole so that the overlaps keep getting bigger. Don see why it wouldn’t work.

I didn't get the glass work done but I did move the exhaust out of the way, glued the foot holds in and got the rocker glued and all ready for glass!

So I decided to and grab my motor from the rebuilders since I dropped it off 4 months ago and they haven't even looked at it and decided to build it myself. I've never polished an engine internals before but I said screw it, I might as well try and here's what came of it
