My friend and are are going riding tomorrow am im guessing the water temp is going to be about 32, Im putting 2 wet suits on with gloves and boots! How will this affect how the skis run and whats the coldest you guys have run?

If the water temp is too cold the ski won't be able to reach optimal operating temperatures. Think of it kinda like your truck or car in the winter, it takes a long time to warm up, performs like crap until it does, and guzzles gas. Same principal applies here accept it doesn't warm up. Plus even though it's a very small chance, it is there that you could run into cold seizure or what some know it as a 4 corner lock up. It happens because the temps from combustion expand the piston enough to oversize it in the cylinder before the cylinder can heat up and expand evenly with everything else.

i installed hand warmers from the pissser, with 3/8 s tubing it works so good the warm water on your hands , i was in lake ontario last nite, it makes a big difference there were great waves yesterday had a blast, i used a old wind breaker over my wet suit and it is only a 3 mm suit

What if we run the skis a bit before we put them in the water, get them nice and "warm"

I wouldn't, I would just let it warm up to the best it can in that water temp from a cold start. If you expose a hot engine to very cold water the shock will really increase the chances of cold seizure. As mentioned the chances are not high but it does happen. A friend of mine had it happen to his CR500 dirt bike in the summer. He didn't let it warm up and took off, 100ft down the road it locked up, almost put him over the bars and he left a 50ft black streak down the road lol. It's up to you dude, tons of people are riding right now in or around those temps but I'm just replying to your question of what could happen

joking aside... we have been out for the last few weeks and its been colder than a mo fo.... but skis have ran fine...

.. coldest i went out in was -2 degrees centigrade.. was a small lake back in the uk.. so with eth damp/wind felt much colder... we were on a small in land lake .. there was a thin layer of ice on it.,. when the first ski went out.. which was an RXP .. you could hear the ice cracking...

.. was so cold i got half way around the lake on my superjet and i didnt have anything coming out of the pisser.. i stopped and checked and the cooling lines were frozen

I've been out breaking ice without problems before. If you install hand warmers using your pisser, you can slow down the water flow a bit and get it to run a bit warmer.
