Colorado Mile High Mix-up 2014

I plan on being there Saturday for sure and will stay the night. Depending on how the dogs are doing will decide how long I stay sunday. I probably wont be leaving any later than 4pm sunday though since I have a bit of a drive back to Westminster. Don't think I'll be going to the boating thing at pueblo. You talked me out of it RMBC ;)

Just got word that Meredith is closed and Henry is really low as well. Might have to move the bash to Pueblo.

Damn... Really? That doesn't make any sense. We have plenty of water everywhere and they have been getting rain out east. I still want to check it out this weekend. i know a couple guys going out there on friday or saturday. They will let me know for sure.

I'm definitely going to look at it this weekend. I texted a few people last night (including @JHD - thanks!) and it sounds like the water level is coming up still. Best situation would be that the level comes up and the ramp is still closed. Like he said, we'd have the lake to ourselves!

It's always shallow out there, so that doesn't concern me.

Going out there tomorrow. Will report back then.

I have a few friends out there now, Meredith is very low. Best bet will be lake Henry across the road.

Due to low water at Lake Meredith, I am moving everything to Lake Henry (just north of Meredith - MAP LINK IS UPDATED).
Water is low there too, but rideable. For anyone planning on coming from a long distance - I don't blame you if you want to skip it all together... I will be there Sunday only. I'm going no matter what - hopefully some more will join me. But like I said, I understand if you don't want to make the drive for less-than-optimal conditions...

Mother Nature really f'ed this one up... sorry...
I had high hopes. Water laws and rights in Colorado make no sense... How can we be flash-flooding every day but these lakes are still empty? Never would have guessed... again, my apologies.

RMBC, how low is the water? Like do we have to worry about hitting rocks and stuff? Also, is there a ramp open? Do campsites need to be reserved or is it a free for all? I know i speak for everyone when i say thank you for putting in the effort of getting this together even if plans get wrecked.

The water is about <edit> 4'-5' deep. No rocks to worry about, it's a relatively flat, muddy bottom. when you fall off, you can just stand up! Subs are not advised ;) ... I always just get off my ski and check depth there, find a deep spot to do tricks. Close to shore it gets shallow very QUICKLY.
Even low, it's a fun lake and we will probably have it mostly to ourselves. Too shallow for most boaters to attempt.
The ramp is open, but launching from shore works too.

Ya we did get rain, every single day for the last week or so. Unfortunately we sell off all our water to other states so we arent able to keep any of it. Absolutely ridiculous.

I can't believe the water is low there. Boyd is at 90% capacity and it's the fullest I have seen in along time.
