i don't think i need a trim system at this point in my riding ability. it will be one more line that could leak and if i do need to put one in....with no foam it will be a snap.

This is exactly what i am going to do... D-Roc if u take any pics of putting the flor back on and how to do, please post them. i have a crack on the bottom in the area under the tray and i think this might be the only way to get in there. Also what is the advantage or disadvantage on having and not having foam. thanks

well running no foam takes away from the strength of the hull, and if it leaks and builds up water it can increase the chance of loosing you ski to the bottom of the lake. i plan on putting some thread in drains that i can remove after riding to drain any water. i am hoping that i don't crack the back of the hull at the same time i swamp the engine compartment. as long one or the other is not full of water it should still float. foam is a good thing but it does add some weight. i have seen a lenzi hull that had no foam and it was really light. Fl-cracker has no foam and he is my hero.

well i managed to get all the sticker glue off the hull and have sanded it down with 80 grit. i glassed in the back of the hull where i shortened it and sealed in my steer cable hose. lots of more sanding in the near future. i still have to install the other rideplate insert and seal the two rear pump inserts before i can think about closing up the back. my buddy is going to put some hours on the hull prepping it and finish up the front gas filler spot for me. thanks alex, i know you'll do a better job than i will. you know me, i was ready to spray it as it...lol.

with the hull angled the way it is now i had a tough time with the scupper flap bending backwards and not closing/sealing very well. this way i am hoping that on landings i don't blow out the oneway valve from water shooting into the tube.

I got some stuff done on the hull today as we got rained out at work. I did some sanding, sealing, primer, and a little spray bombing. its actually the nicest looking ski i have owned to date. That still doesn't mean it is beautiful, but..... it is good from far. I still need to glass the tray in. that should happen this week yet. Alex fixed the gas cap filler area up front, thanks buddy. looks much better. i guess i am going to have to build a carbon replica hood soon for it...

i like the solid white look too, i don't need a pretty paint job. flat black is what i have been running the past two seasons and still like the look. a few graphics maybe to set it off.

Damn Alex your looking sexy, where's those redbull and vodka's. You gotta slow down on that hull Derek.

i gotta have it for the end of season river ride....:ugh: haha no seriously i might get it close, i still have to do the tray, footholds and turf. after that is swap time. the footholds are getting cut out of the SN so once that happens i am committed to finish it if i want to ride. i doubt i will get it done and in the water this season, i do have to move in a month.
