lol, i moved alot of junk over to my new place and suddenly the extra room gets taken up by more skis. That is steve's killer whale, and sausages tank. Sounds like an electrical/ignition issue to me with the way it cuts in and out at a steady rpm.

i stripped the Sn of all the stuff i wanted off it and sold it to my buddy alex for his winter project. He is well on his waty to getting a ski to ride. i sold him the hull with handpole bracket, fpp alum waterbox, hood/hooks/catch, midshaft/mid housing. He has a 701 motor with mounts and e-box. its a good start. i will be going to his shop on saturday to cut out my xft holds so i can put them in my newish hull. a couple more weeks and i should be living in my new house and i can start setting up shop to work on my ski.

yeah well maybe i will throw a bash at the new place. i am for sure having a spring ride/camp out where we can ride out the creek that is on my property. we can jump logs, trees, lilly pads etc all the way to Welland if we want.

yeah i would like to keep 6-8 lbs of pressure in the hull, that way i can kinda monitor for leaks from the problem areas. it sure makes it easy to find where your leaks are when you give it a shot of air. i found a slow leak in my steering cable hose which i will address when i cut in my footholds. i kinda sealed it in a way that wasn't so great and it is failing. :icon16:

i didn't do any work on the ski in along time but....i got a hood and nose piece for a good deal. i was going to lay up a carbon replica hood off of a mold from a friend but for now this was easier. thanks to steve for selling me his old WCF hood and a nose piece. :friday: the nose piece will be either a WCF or a 24/7 depending on which one steve doesn't want. both look good on my ski but i am kinda liking the 24/7's raised up area by the pole bracket. i am really itching to get back to wrenching on my ski. just need a few more parts off of steve and i should be set for this season.

as some of you know i have been in the middle of moving. We sold our old house but had to wait for my wife's grandparents new house in town to be completed. after 7 weeks of living in the cottage, the grandparents are moved out and we spent our first night here. We are pretty excited about the new place. It is on 10 acres, 10' tall basement, has a secret crawlspace tunnel, workshop area, silo, garage, 3 bathrooms 4 bedrooms. There isthe chippawa river on the property that runs all the way to welland and beyond. It freezes up nice in the winter for snowmobiling. its a pretty major ride spot with 1/4 mile drag strip cleared for racing sleds. A shack that sells beer and has a woodstove to warm up. i plan on digging a nice little ski launch with the backhoe come spring. :bigok: The basement has an area with new silo parts that we sell at work. (not too often) i found a couple pictures of the property from an airplane. The first is when the place was built, you can see the Super Major tractor in the pic. I can't wait to bushhog some shiat with that thing. make some more minibike trails. the second pic is taken about 10 years ago judging by the vehilces in the driveway. (wife's jetta, buddy's Saab) and last is a picture of the work area and the superjet room. Hopefully in the weeks to come we can unpack everything and i can get back to wrenching on the ski. I think Steve is coming over to help me move stuff out of the garage. i am sure he will be bringing his ski over soon.
