I know it's a long ways out and things can change but weather.com is calling for NW winds of 11+ mph for thursday and friday.

Typically nw winds are the best, especially where I ride which is south of clay banks. SW winds can kick up some pretty good waves also, they might actually be better for waves at clay banks because the shoreline starts to jet out a bit there. Basically any wind direction that doesn't have a "e" in it will kick up some waves on the west side of lake michigan.

Forecast looking a little iffy for waves. Thursday might be the best day, decent nw wind. Going to be a little cool also!! Bringing a extra sleeping bag and hoping for a change in wind direction for fri, and sat.
