I'll try it again with windex. My issue is getting it to even catch. I have to put it at an angle then I try to pry the left over section with a flat head from below which just messes up the tubing. Nerve wracking !

Put a zip tie up each side to help it want to go through, slide . Both thick end down and in those will catch and help pull it through.

Well I said I would ride Saturday and so I did. Haven't had a chance to get the breather cables in yet but I only rode in a calm lake today. Still a couple things that need adjustment, steering cable isn't hitting steer stop bolt (need pic of what bolt you guys are using because it should have a chinpad bolt on top of it, and stock battery is too tall and is pushing against the exhaust hose. I don't want to give it a review until I have it all sorted out, but coming from a SJ with nothing but footholds and a rrp steering, WOWWWW!!!! First thing I noticed is the power and response is night and day from before. Ski does not ride nose high at all. Plenty of power to make this a very playful ski. Only thing I added was a girdled head, mod b pipe (ported), stock taper bored carbs, and a fcv, this thing rips! Don't see me needing anymore power for surf honestly. Full review coming soon. (Engine bay will be cleaned up don't worry)

I have a big oddysey, it's heavy but I have had it for 5 years or more, never had to even charge it. I have a rad dudes exhaust hose.

I run a deka etx 9 in my superfreak, the odyssey is way better if you don't mind the weight! Especially if you ever sink your ski and have to crank the sh## out of it or leave your bilge on by accident.

Exactly. I ride all surf and would prefer to have a battery that can handle a lot more cranks if need be. Is the odyssey smaller than the current one at least?
